There has been a lot of interest in booking Carnival Cruises since it became the first line to offer cruises leaving from South Carolina. The 2,056-passenger Carnival Fantasy began departing from Charleston Harbor in May 2010. It only took a postcard in her mailbox to pique Lynn Meyer’s interest in learning about Cruise, Travel and Attractions. It sounded like a good idea, and it was just a short trip to the nearby office to find out more. It turned out to be the first step to many journeys she’s taken with her husband Bill.

For Dave Dolber, travel is not a luxury – it’s a business. As a corporate pilot, he is on call to fly anywhere in the Southeast or to the Caribbean on just a few hours notice. Robert Moe has been a member of Cruise, Travel and Attractions for a couple of years now and, although he travels quite a bit for his job, he admits that he has yet to take a vacation.

“I travel for my work,” Moe said. “I haven’t had time to plan a trip yet.” Moe’s job takes him all over the country. He’s recently been to Nebraska, South Dakota and Kentucky. The goal of a condo-hotel is to combine the benefits of vacation home ownership and real estate investing. But one difference is that the owner buys the unit outright, rather than just an annual week or two of use.” With a condohotel, the owner gets a deeded piece of property in his own name.
